BEHIND THE SCENES: THE LAST WOMEN

We filmed the Courthouse interiors at the SCOTTISH RITE TEMPLE in Downtown Tucson this Saturday night, with Actress Teresa Shade playing Evadne, and Actresses Dominique Borrego, Anna Yosin, Zelie Rivera playing the last three fertile Diseased females with Actor Roy Patterson playing Victor The Butcher's lieutenant, joining Star Santiago Craig for his escape from the Diseased scene.

Makeup FX Supervisor Frank Guerra and Lead FX Makeup Artist Danny Hernandez transformed our Talent into the Diseased to film the interior shots that will be intercut with the celebration outside, in the courtyard we filmed at the Pima County Consolidated Courthouse. It's not easy to transform four beautiful actresses into pustule scarred Diseased women but with the use of face and body prosthetic appliances and makeup, our FX Makeup Team consistently blow us away with the detailed work they accomplish in such a short time.

Assistant Director Paul Adkins doubled for everything behind the camera on a small crew night, consisting of just him, James Arnett directing from behind the camera with Producer Gabriele Andres coordinating production, and as always, taking the behind the scenes photographs seen below:

The backlit veil was made of gold nylon because of its gold translucent qualities to match the candle lighting as well as its surface sheen to carry across the fire theme from the concurrent celebration scene outside in the courtyard.
