Animation
achieved
with
flat
art
requires
a
series
of
individual
pieces
of
artwork
to
be
prepared
beforehand
and
changed
between
most
every
frame
of
film
shot.
Usually
artwork
is
layered
with
many
overlapping
pieces
of
art
so
a
single
element
of
the
image
can
be
changed
without
re-doing
all
of
the
artwork.
Despite
these
time
and
labor
saving
techniques,
animation
requires
an
enormous
amount
of
artwork
to
create
several
minutes
of
animation
consisting
of
24
frames
for
each
and
every
second.
